Beyblade Instore Competition Registration

Wishing to participate in the above-identified event and on the date(s) specified (collectively, the “Event”), and in consideration of Hasbro Inc.’s, its subsidiaries, parent companies, related companies, etc…  (“Hasbro”) agreement to allow me to participate in the Event, I agree to the terms of this Consent and Release (“Release”).

1. I will comply with all rules, regulations, and behavior standards applicable to the Event, as may be modified from time to time in Hasbro’s sole discretion. I understand and agree that all decisions of Hasbro and its authorized representatives and independent tournament organizers (“ITOs”) with respect to the Event are final.
2. I am a parent or guardian that has read and signed this Release on the minor’s behalf. I acknowledge that the minor is between the ages of 8-12 and can compete in this Event.
3. I agree that Hasbro, Inc., as well as its unaffiliated Third Party Partners and/or sponsors/exhibitors of the Event, independent production companies and organizers of the Event,  agents, representatives, assigns, licensors, licensees, and/or ITOs including but not limited to Vibrant, ADK, Takara Tomy (collectively, “Related Third Parties”) may take, capture, acquire, produce, use and release my name, image, voice and/or likenesses in any format including audio, video, photographic, digital, electronic or other media, in whole or in part, edited or unedited (collectively “Recordings”), and to edit, re-edit, re- record, modify, enhance, alter, and/or create derivative works of the Records. I further grant Permission to Hasbro and its Related Third Parties to use, exploit and/or distribute the Records, each in whatever manner Hasbro or its Related Third Parties deems fit, for any and all commercial and non-commercial purposes, including, but not limited to, the Event, other Hasbro-sponsored events, press releases, promotional events, product and brand marketing and advertising materials, and social media postings (including, without limitation, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, Vine and Twitter), and any other online/internet/digital uses, including, but not limited to, on the website Beyblade.com owned and operated by ADK[MM1] , worldwide in perpetuity. I further agree and expressly consent that Hasbro and its Related Third Parties may display my name, age, city, region, Event record and Event standings online through websites, including, but not limited to, the website Beyblade.com owned and operated by ADK., and social media services to facilitate the Event and/or the World Championship, if applicable. I understand that I will not be given any payment, compensation or royalties for the taking and use of such Recordings. The sole consideration for granting the above permission(s) is the opportunity to be included in such Recordings. I hereby waive any right to inspect and/or approve the Recordings or any use of the Recordings. It is understood and acknowledged that the Recordings may or may not ever be used, in the sole discretion of Hasbro or its Related Third Parties.
4. If eligible, I may receive an award for participating in the Event, and Hasbro may, in its discretion, modify or terminate any award or the award structure. The following limitations shall apply to any award received by me as a result of my participation in the Event:
   1. General. Awards are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and not redeemable for an alternative award except in Hasbro’s sole discretion. All expenses and taxes not specified herein are my responsibility and I acknowledge Hasbro’s recommendation that I consult a tax advisor in my jurisdiction
   2. Invitation to World Championship or other Qualifying Event award. For the applicable Event, Hasbro or its designate may provide me with an invitation to compete at the World Championship inTokyo, Japan on October, 2025, or an invitation to compete at another Qualifying Event.
   3. Airfare award. For the applicable Event, Hasbro or its designate may provide two (2) roundtrip economy tickets for me and my parent or legal guardian that need to accompany me on an airline of its choice from the airport nearest my home to the World Championship. I will adhere to all instructions provided by Hasbro or its designate in booking such air ticket. Travel dates will include the days of the World Championship. All other fees, including but not limited to, lodging, meals, ground transportation, gratuities, travel documents, travel insurance, and fees caused by changes to airline reservations, are solely my responsibility. I agree to travel on dates designated by Hasbro or award will be forfeited. All flight arrangements are subject to availability.
   4. Hotel Room award. For the applicable Event, Hasbro or its designate may provide one (1) standard hotel room at a hotel of its choice for me and my parent or legal guardian that needs to accompany me for the World Championship. I will adhere to all instructions provided by Hasbro in booking such hotel room. All other fees, including but not limited to airfare, meals, ground transportation, gratuities, travel insurance, and fees caused by changes to hotel reservations, are my responsibility. I agree to occupy the room on dates designated by Hasbro or award will be forfeited. All hotel arrangements are subject to availability.
   5. Other awards. For the applicable Event, Hasbro or its designate may provide non-cash awards such as Hasbro product
   6. Visas and Immigration Documents. Depending on my country of citizenship, a visa and/or other immigration document(s) may be required to compete in the World Championship. It is my responsibility to determine whether I need a visa and/or other immigration document(s), and whether I should apply for such documents. I am responsible for arranging and obtaining my own visa and/or other required immigration document(s). Any and all fees associated with immigration, including, but not limited to, obtaining my visa or other immigration documents, are my responsibility.
5. I AGREE TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HASBRO, ITS RELATED THIRD PARTIESHARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSS, INJURY, DAMAGE, CLAIM, AND ACTION OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT, THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, OR OTHER QUAILFYING EVENT) OR ANY AWARD INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, WHETHER SUFFERED BY ME OR A THIRD PARTY, HOWEVER CAUSED, AND WHETHER FORESEEN OR UNFORESEEN. HASBRO, ITSRELATED THIRD PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, OR OTHER QUALIFYING EVENT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, TRAVELING TO AND FROM THE EVENT, THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, OR OTHER QUALIFYING EVENT.
6. Hasbro and its Related Third Parties are not obligated to exercise any of the rights granted herein.
7. The terms of this Release shall serve as a release and assumption of risk for my heirs and all members of my family, including any minors accompanying me. I understand this is a binding contract that supersedes any other agreements or representations, and is intended to provide a complete release of liability. The specific rights of the parties may vary from state to state or region to region or country to country.
8. By providing my information and signing below, I am accepting and consenting to the following data collection and transfer practices. Hasbro may collect, process, and use personal information provided by me for the purpose of registering me for the World Championship or other Qualifying Event and facilitating the Event, World Championship or other Qualifying Event. For questions or concerns regarding my data, please contact https://corporate.hasbro.com/en-us/consumer-care. I grant Hasbro and its Related Third Parties permission to collect, process, and use personal contact information provided by me (including, for example, name, age, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and country of residence) and to transfer such personal information within and outside of my country of residence to ADK in the United States, which may have different personal information protection laws than my country of residence. I also grant Hasbro permission to transfer such personal information outside of the United States to ADK and Takara Tomy in Japan, which may have different personal information protection laws than my country of residence, for the sole purpose of completing my registration for the World Championship, if applicable. I may request access to and/or correction or deletion of my personal information maintained, stored or processed by Hasbro (in connection with the Event, World Championship or other Qualifying Event) at any time by submitting such request to Hasbro’s Consumer Care as set forth at https://corporate.hasbro.com/en-us/consumer-care. Any inquires or complaints with respect to my personal information should also be channeled to Hasbro and Related Third Parties in this manner. I further acknowledge that it will be necessary for Hasbro to store and process my personal information for the purpose of facilitating the Event, World Championship or other Qualifying Event, without which I will not be able to compete in the Event, World Championship, or other Qualifying Event.
9. This Release shall be constructed and controlled by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA (without regard to the conflicts of law provisions therein). Any dispute under this Release shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal or state courts of the State of Rhode Island, USA.
10. The winner of the tournament will be expected to appear in exciting media opportunities whilst in Japan, including potential appearances on TV, online, in newspapers, and on social media with popular influencers.

Parent/Legal Guardian: By signing this Release, I, the minor’s parent/legal guardian, represent and declare that I am the legal parent or guardian of the minor with full legal capacity and authority to act for and on behalf of the minor, and that I am granting permission for the minor to participate in the Event. I acknowledge and understand that by signing this Release on behalf of a minor, the minor shall be bound by all the terms of this Release, and that I am waiving certain rights on behalf of the minor that the minor otherwise may have. I agree to indemnify and hold Hasbro, its Related Third Parties,  and any other sponsors/providers, and their employees, agents, and contractors harmless for any claims or liabilities assessed against them as a result of any insufficiency of my legal capacity or authority to act for and on behalf of the minor in the execution of this Release. I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THE FOREGOING RELEASE, UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS, AND AM AWARE THAT I AM RELEASING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS THAT I OTHERWISE MAY HAVE.
